January - South Florida Fair
This fair has all the best things you would expect with a fair. Lasting just over two weeks there is so much to enjoy and admission is free for children 10 and younger. The Fair showcases agriculture’s impact on The Palm Beaches. There’s livestock, baby animals, and farm equipment. Take home fresh produce and vegetables, locally grown, when perusing the famous Sunday Feed Store Fresh Market – it’s a whole new taste of The Palm Beaches. And the Fair just won’t be the fair without rows of vendors displaying their latest gadgets, clothes, arts & crafts, and cowboy gear. Not to mention cover bands, parades, rides, feed stores, and all kinds of entertainment. Located at South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33421.
February - The Honda Classic
This event is more for the golf loving adults of West Palm but children are also welcome! Enjoy a world class field of PGA stars during the Honda Classic. From prime public seating options, to several public activations on site, and a wide variety of food and beverage options, the Honda Classic offers something for any fan! Keep in mind this event is cashless so all tickets will be mobile/digital. The concession, ticket office and other retail locations will all be cashless as well.
The PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens has been the permanent home to The Honda Classic since 2007. The club consists of five elegant 18-hole courses, but The Honda Classic is played on the distinctive Champion Course every year. The course was redesigned in 2014 and is now famous for “The Bear Trap,” a challenging three-hole stretch designed by the Golden Bear himself, Jack Nicklaus. Between seeing the golfers, see Palm Beach Gardens. Shop like a pro with a retail scene rivaling the golf. The Gardens Mall has high-end department stores and runway-ready designer labels, while the open-air Downtown Gardens offers boutiques and restaurants.
Tip: Keep in mind this event is cashless so all tickets will be mobile/digital. The concession, ticket office and other retail locations will all be cashless as well.
March + April - Spring Training
If you’re a fan of baseball, there’s nothing better than Spring Training in Florida. Imagine: It’s sunny and warm (not too warm), and you’re at the ballpark with the family watching the Washington Nationals at The Ballpark of The Palm Beaches or cheering on their Spring Training neighbors, the St. Louis Cardinals, at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. The players are relaxed, signing autographs, talking to fans and learning to play as a team again after a winter break. The Palm Beaches are the Spring Training location for the Nationals, Cardinals, Houston Astros and Miami Marlins. From superstars to rookies to guys just trying to make the team, Spring Training is a fan-friendly atmosphere everyone should experience at least once.
Tip: Remember, both stadiums feature two “home” teams. So, if you can’t buy a home game ticket for your team, see them when they’re the “visitor.”
