Fort Lauderdale Beach Park is the best place to go if you are looking for MORE to do at the beach! Situated just south of The Bahia Mar Resort, at 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard. This picturesque park has everything you need to maximize your fun in the sun time, from sand volleyball courts to a boat ramp to outdoor showers. There are grills for cooking, a basketball court if you get bored with the sand and a kid's playground to keep the little ones busy.

Calisthenics Park Beach

A beach paradise for any calisthenics lovers! It’s safe to say most calisthenics enthusiast enjoy being outdoors and this is the perfect spot to hit up year round. When you get too hot, simply walk over to the water and take a dip, then right back at it! The calisthenics park and basketball courts are specifically located at 700-790 S Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, USA.

Perfect for those new to calisthenics and those who have been dabbling in calisthenics skills for year, in the sand next to two basketball courts you find a massive outdoor fitness/calisthenics gym. The beach park has high pull up bars, parallel bars, low bars (low enough for push-ups) and incline benches for ab exercises. Some have ditched their gym memberships for the basketball courts and workout bars!

This outdoor adult playground is perfectly situated on the beach! It’s right next to some bathrooms and a crosswalk away from a deli to grab snacks (water, pizza, etc.) just in front of the Bahia Mar hotel. It helps the crosswalk is right in front of the Calisthenics area.

For those who have parking anxiety, this part of the park has 500 parking spaces. We highly suggest you use the PayByPhone parking spaces. This is a huge deal because PayByPhone will notify you when your time is running out. This gives you the option to head out OR extend your parking without going back to your car! They do check the cars very regularly to make sure that everyone is in compliance so don’t skip the notification.

There are many local callisthenic athletes that go to the park to work out almost every day. From what I’ve experiences the people there are extremely nice and even helpful when they see someone struggling with a skill.

You don’t need any special outdoor fitness equipment to be able to train at Calisthenics Park Beach, Fort Lauderdale. However, make sure to wear comfortable clothes and of course don’t forget to bring some water. It’s a great atmosphere of healthy living, including basketball courts, kite boarding, volleyball, and of course wonderful people watching along with the brick Promenade. That runs the entire length of the beach not just at this park but all the way down past Sunrise Blvd., North.
